Ashton Clarke brings a wealth of experience to her success as a recruiter and marketer in the field of executive search.
Ms. Clarke began her executive search career with Management Recruiters of Southern California (subsequently Search West), an established leader in executive search since 1966. Joining the company in 1979, she was responsible for ushering in a string of "firsts" with that organization, including implementing the company's first regular marketing campaigns to candidates and client companies.
Upon the company's expansion and name change to Search West, Rice was selected to formally develop and grow the corporate-wide marketing, advertising and research departments. Providing services for up to 200 search consultants in multiple offices, she demonstrated expertise in using a variety of methods to source, contact and attract prospective client companies and candidates.
A few of Ashton's accomplishments include:
Developing and managing marketing campaigns, including performing nationwide target research. These programs generated up to $1 million in additional sales per year.
Writing and designing professional profiles for the firm's executive recruiters, used for mailing and client visits as well as featuring on the corporate website.
Writing and designing resumes and bulleted profiles spotlighting the firm's most placeable candidates and targeted to a nationwide client company base.
Serving as corporate project manager in the development of computerized candidate and employer contact systems, including system development, modifications, testing, and training.
Writing and performing the voice-over for the company's Career Hotline, a phone-in, recorded position advertisement message.
Upon the retirements of the owners of Search West, Ashton was approached by several of the top producers of Search West to develop the marketing, recruiting, and research campaigns for their individual companies. For example, partnering with the founder of a nationwide electrical industry executive search firm, she has been instrumental in:
Developing and conducting research plans to effectively implement nationwide searches.
Sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing industry professionals to effectively match the best companies to the most accomplished talent available.
Developing and implementing the firm's corporate presence and strategic vision.
Long term and short term strategic planning.
